Chocolatestar Revenge
Part One
Twilightpaw cast a long glance at Crowfeather, who smirked back. Foxpaw was dead, and no one could help Twilightpaw now. She knew the Crowfeather had killed Chocolatestar, his own leader and grandmother. Crowfeather was practically trying to get the clan against her. Crowfeather ceased the moment to step forward to Twilightpaw. After all, no one was watching him. Twilightpaw watched as Crowfeather stepped forward, her fear growing. Her eyes grew wider and her fear-scent stronger. Crowfeather was less than two fox-lengths away now. Twilightpaw nimbly turned around and pelted out of camp. Away from Crowfeather, and away from danger.
Chocolatestar watched from StarClan, she turned her head away into the shadows. The shadows casted a long murky beam across her eyes. She turned her head back into the light, so she could watch.
Crowfeather had decided to give chase. His agile body glided easily, over the dense forest floor. Twilightpaw steadily went faster and faster, until she crashed into another cat. She looked up, her eyes terrified. Her eyes softened as soon as she realized who is was. Chocolatestar. Chocolatestars slim shadow silhouetted against the dark night sky. Her pelt filled with dim stars, her body surrounded by a misty glaze.
Crowfeather stopped dead when his eyes rested upon Chocolatestar, "But you’re dead!" He hissed, failing to see the eerie glow coming from his former leader.
"My body is, but my spirit will live on forever!" Chocolatestar roared, furious at her former warrior.
Twilightpaw had hid behind Chocolatestar, to afraid to face Crowfeather. Then she felt Chocolatestar's warmth leave her, she opened her eyes into tiny slits.
Chocolatestar had taken revenge at Crowfeather. She had pinned him to the ground. She lunged her neck at him but missed by a few inches. Her jaws clamped down on the empty air. But this one failure wouldn't stop her.
Crowfeather was stuck under the heavy weight. It felt like all of StarClan had pinned him down. He was still able to move his head and tail though. He dodged Chocolatestar's jaws, by only a few inches when they clamped down. With his tail he tried to distract Chocolatestar, but it wasn't working.
Finally Crowfeather was able to shift his feet under the weight. As soon as he had shifted his feet he forcefully kicked up with them. Chocolatestar soared over Crowfeather head from the impact, as he scrambled up.
Chocolatestar yowled angrily. She roughly landed on the side of a tree, but was able to use the tree to her advantage, she kicked off from it with her hind legs and lunged herself at Crowfeather again. Claws unsheathed. Crowfeather wasn't ready for what happened next.
Twilightpaw leaped at him from the shadows.
She sank her teeth into Crowfeathers neck. Blood spilled from the wound, and tumbled into Spirit River. Spirit River turned a dark red as Crowfeather lay next to it.
Twilightpaw's sides heaved, as Chocolatestar padded up next to her, "Its not over yet." She meowed, her voice trailing as her body disappeared. Twilightpaw could still feel her presence though.
Crowfeather growled angrily, "She's right" he hissed. Blood flowed faster as he spoke.
Though Crowfeather had killed her leader, she couldn't let him die like this, she just couldn't. She pelted away in search of some cobwebs. She soon found some, and returned to Crowfeather.
The bleeding had stopped a little, but he had lost a lot. Twilightpaw pressed the cobwebs onto Crowfeather's wound, who had fallen unconscious. "Well done daughter." Twilightpaw heard Chocolatestar's voice say, but she didn't see her.
